Mrs. Gulliksen received her Bachelor of Music in Applied Piano Performance and her Master of Music in Piano from Virginia Commonwealth University where she also studied organ and voice. She was the recipient of the Star of DO award from Delta Omicron Music Fraternity during her senior year and a fellowship in accompanying for her Master of Music degree. She has also studied at Shenandoah University and in Rome, Italy. She has over 35 years of experience teaching piano to students from age 5 to adult. Some of her students have won scholarships to music conservatories.
Mrs. Gulliksen is a nationally certified member of the Music Teachers National Association and a member of the Richmond Music Teachers Association serving as secretary and treasurer. She is also a member and judge for the American College of Musicians (National Guild of Piano), the Leschetizky Society, Delta Omicron International Music Fraternity and the American Guild of Organists.
